Ever wondered what its like behind the scenes at your local TV station? Got a budding anchorman at your house? This tour will include a visit to the newsroom, control room, weather center and studio. You will also have an opportunity to see what it is like behind-the-scenes during a live broadcast.

Introductory Flight in Latest Technology Cessna 182

Enjoy a one hour flight in the latest technology Cessna 182 along the Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah Valley complete with a Certified Flight Instructor ensuring some "hands on" flying and spectacular views.

Aircraft is based at Manassas Regional Airport. The winner will sit at the controls in front and two rear seat passengers may accompany the flight. Must sign waiver.

"Old Rehoboth Beach - 1925" by Paul McGehee

A beautifully framed limited edition art print, "Old Rehoboth Beach - 1925", painted by Arlington's own Paul McGehee. This is an Artist's Proof copy, signed by the artist.

Paul, a 1978 graduate of Yorktown HS (and a proud Jamestown parent!) has been painting professionally for over 30 years and is widely recognized. Among his honors was being named the Official Artist of the National Christmas Tree in 2005...he was invited to the White House for a meeting with the President. He is best known for his historical subjects, such as this one, a 1925 view of the beach at Rehoboth, DE. His website paulmcgeheeart.com features all of his works from his storied career. The custom framing of this piece was done at Paul McGehee's Old Town Gallery in historic Old Town Alexandria, VA.

Wine Tasting Party for Ten

Whether you are a wine novice or aficionado, this progressive wine-tasting party is sure to be a fun evening out with friends. Who knows, you might even learn a few wine tasting terms, and a little about the regions where the wines come from. Guests will rotate between three different homes, each featuring a different group of wines from a different region. Each home will feature appetizers or desserts that complement the wines being served.

Date to be mutually agreed upon and scheduled prior to the end of the 2009/2010 school year. Expires January 1, 2011.

Vice-Principal for Half-Day

Which student will be Vice-Principal for half a day? Will they declare recess for the whole school? Call their friends to the office? This half-day adventure includes lunch with three friends in the conference room with a choice of take out restaurant options, and a behind the scenes tour of the school.

Vice Principal for Half-Day is valid for 1 student only. Date will be determined by Ms. Schaffner.

Eades Whiskey Master Class, Tasting and Chocolate Pairing

Move over wine tasting - we've got whisky tasting. The Virginia Distillery Company will give a tasting at your chosen venue for up to 15 people. The tasting includes: History of Distilling plus tasting of 5 Whiskies, 3 Double Malts and 2 Single Malts with an entertaining background to the history of distilling and its passage through Europe to Ireland and Scotland. Also includes a chocolate pairing with all 3 Eades double malt whiskies.

Back by popular demand!! Two Jamestown dads and gourmet chef wannabes: David Duhamel and Paul Romness, will create a gastronomic feast for 3 couples at the home of Pam and Mike Poth. The evening will include spectacular cuisine and fine wines along with dessert and stimulating conversation. Bring your defibrillator and leave your car at home! Car service will be provided to and from the Poth home.

Date to be mutually agreed upon and must be scheduled prior to the end of the school year. This feast is intended for 3 couples only.
